Descending from Logan Pass

Here I recorded part of the descent of Logan Pass, you can see Jake ahead of me! A beautiful descent.

Goat Family

We saw these beautiful mountain goats on Logan Pass in Glacier. There were two adults and a child.

Mountain Bluebells

A better picture of the bluebells growing on the mountain side in Glacier Park.

Grizzly

We saw 3 near Waterton in Alberta. You DON'T get near these guys! This one must have weighted 900 pounds.

Rodeo

Wow - these guys can really ride! Ennis was a real western town. This was on the 4th of July.

Pine Trees

Are everywhere in the mountains. A beetle has been distroying many, unfortunately. Here in a closeup with morning dew on the needles.

The Red Rocks

of Wyoming were pervasive, and magnificent. Their shear size overwhelming, and the colors and textures beautiful!

Wild Horses

A local told us about these wild horses, who roamed the plains freely. Such graceful animals!

rattlesnake!

We saw this live rattlesnake by the road, after riding just a few feet from it! It coiled to strike, and we stayed safely out of range!
